Once upon a time there was a beautiful queen named Sarah who lived in a land full of adventure. In that land she had two princesses and only one prince…..
well, that story is somewhat true.
Sarah is my cousin and when we were kids we would always play “princesses” in my grandmothers basement. She was always the queen and my sister and I would play her princess daughters. My poor cousin Cory would always be the only prince/king. He always got stuck playing “princesses” with us. I am not totally sure how we came up with this game, but we sure did have quite the imaginations.
Now Sarah is all grown up and married to a prince of her own. Her wedding was something magical! A true story of love. Take a look at this lovely wedding.
Sarah’s bouquet was so pretty. The fan in Sarah’s flowers has been in Sarah’s family since 1906. Her “something old” is very unique.
These next few pictures remind me of the movie Princess Bride, which is quite fitting. Even the gazebo in the background looks like a castle.
This had to be the coolest cake ever! Notice all of the little ribbons. They are wedding cake pulls. Such a neat cake!
All of the unmarried ladies would pull a string to collect their charm. (I got to pull one and it was so cool!)
Each charm had a different meaning. It was really neat to see who got which charm.
I just have to say… Sarah bakes the best cookies. You could say, cookies are her thing! She made homemade cookies for the guest favors. Very delish!
Do you notice the cross shadow at their feet? How perfect is that!
This beautiful wedding in the woods was so much fun to be a part of. Thank you so much Josh & Sarah for letting me photograph your wedding! Much love!!
