The smell of your mothers perfume or the smell of rain in the spring; it instantly brought you back to a certain feeling. Scent is one of the most powerful memory triggers (because your nose is connected to the memory center of your brain). You can look up all the science behind it (there is a ton of research about it online). But this has to be one of my favorite wedding tips!
When my sister got married a few years ago, I gave her a new bottle of perfume. But the rules were; do not smell or use this until your wedding day. And she said it was the coolest thing to experience! Whenever she smells that scent, it instantly reminds her of their wedding day. What an amazing way to lock in those memories!
