Sunflowers are by far, my favorite flowers! So each year when July comes around, there is a local sunflower field that only blooms for 2 weeks out of the year, making it a very slim option for any couples looking for their engagement session location. It just happened to be around the time that Ashley & Nat were thinking about doing their engagement session. Perfect timing! They were really excited to visit the sunflowers and take a few pictures.
I am so thankful that we made it to the sunflowers when we did…because this was the last day they were open! We made it just in time! I really enjoyed getting to know Ashley & Nat and hear more about their story. We did happen get stuck in a barn for a little bit while a rainstorm blew through – no big deal. But while we were waiting for the rain to stop, we were able to chat more about their wedding plans and it got me even more excited for their wedding this fall!
