I love getting the chance to meet couples before their wedding day by doing an engagement session with them. It’s a great way to ease into getting your pictures taken so that when your wedding day arrives, you are 100% confident in front of the camera. No pressure – just a fun time practicing for your wedding. After talking with Kyle and Sharon over the phone, I immediately picked up on their personalities. These two are SO SWEET and kindhearted. I was so thrilled that their path led them to my website (thanks to another couple for referring them to me) and here we are! Sharon is a school nurse and I think that is the perfect occupation for her because she is just so caring and kind. I know she is so great at what she does by how she carries herself in everyday life. And Kyle is studying for his PHD at Emory by working at Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta – he is working on some of the coolest projects to help kids get the best health care in a less scary way. These two are truly making the world a better place!!

While they were both pursuing their careers, they met through a mutual friend at their church, Christ the King. It’s when you aren’t actively seeking to find someone, that God directs you in the right place at the right time. They were at the right place at just the right time. After dating for several months, these two got engaged and have been excitedly planning their springtime wedding. I know these two spend a lot of time helping others, that is is such an honor to be there for them and serve them on one of the best days of their lives.

Westside provisions was the perfect cityscape location for their engagement session! We discovered a lot of pretty backdrops for them and also….ice cream! Best way to celebrate getting married. And they also showed me some of their swing dance moves. (that’s how my husband and I met) so it was so fun to share this hobby with them. Dancing, photos, icecream – perfect day!
