Intimate North Georgia Wedding | Dalton & Rebekah

What a perfect day for a wedding in North Georgia! Weather is always a hot topic for outdoor weddings in…is it going to be too hot, too cold, raining…

BUT Dalton and Rebekah didn’t have to worry about a thing! When you close your eyes and picture the perfect fall day…that’s what Dalton and Rebekah had for their North Georgia wedding!

My Favorite Moment

Even though it was a bit overcast during the ceremony, it made for the PERFECT exit! With the pew lined aisle filled with their friends and family, Dalton and Rebekah walked down as their guests threw leaves as celebratory confetti (here’s where it get’s good), just as they got to the end of the aisle the sun started shining! It created this dramatic moment as they entered into the next chapter as husband and wife!

About the Couple

Dalton and Rebekah are such a sweet and chill couple! Their intimate wedding was rich with love and it was so special to capture!

They met through their neighbor, which also happens to be the Best Man, Bobby! Dalton showed an interest in Rebekah and Bobby encouraged him to ask her out and their love story unfolded from there!

The Details

This wedding was a true testament to love, family and friends. Many had a part in making their day something special! Their ceremony took place in Rebekah’s dad’s backyard on a hill overlooking the mountains. It made for the perfect backdrop and was extra special, because it was the house Rebekah grew up in!

The rest of the wedding took place in her neighbors’ backyard…well actually quite a few of their yards! In true neighborly fashion, they all allowed the use of their yards for their special day so we were able to pick a few different locations for their photos. Just like their engagement session that you can see here.

The reception was SO beautiful. Decorated with candle lit tables that were built by Rebekah’s dad for the occasion! You can’t tell from the photos, but these tables were HUGE and incredibly built. They were made from trees that had fallen down years prior to due tornadoes and he turned them into something special for his daughter’s wedding day.

Funny story! While driving to different sites for photos, my car battery died…you heard that right – it died. I was so embarrassed. But again, Dalton and Rebekah are incredibly sweet and easy going and Rebekah’s dad and brother came to the rescue! Dalton turned it into a positive and said, “I’m really glad we get a little break here. To just sit and have a moment.”

I LOVE an intimate wedding and this North Georgia wedding was perfect. I was so honored to be able to capture their wedding day!
