A Summer Evening at Lake Acworth
The Schneider family’s summer session at Lake Acworth in Acworth, Georgia was one of those evenings that felt calm, effortless, and full of genuine connection.
We met at Cauble Beach with rain clouds hovering nearby, unsure if the weather would fully cooperate. But thankfully, the rain held off just long enough—and honestly, the overcast skies gave us some of the most beautiful light for their session.
As an Acworth family photographer, I’ve learned that some of the dreamiest sessions happen right before a summer storm.
Such a Small World
One of my favorite parts of this session was getting to know the Schneider family more throughout the evening. It also turned into one of those “small world” moments because Aaron actually officiated my brother’s wedding.
Connections like that always make sessions feel a little more personal and meaningful.
It’s such a gift getting to photograph families while also discovering shared stories and relationships along the way.
