Somethin’ about a southern wedding that just makes my heart melt….and this one especially! Katie and I went to photography school together (which seems just like yesterday). We also shot one of our first weddings together! They always say you have to start somewhere…and it still baffles my mind that I decided that I wanted to shoot weddings after the wedding we shot together. It was crazy! Makes me laugh how things work out. Obviously….we survived! haha.

But I am so happy for Katie and Aaron! I remember back in college when they started dating and she would tell us about him. If I recall, she tell us sweet things he would say or do and say “He is just precious”. So after a few years of dating they finally tied the knot! Their wedding was nothing short of sweet! Blue skies and a lot of love!
Katie has always had great style and a love for all things vintage. She found this pretty bracelet for her wedding that I think is so “Katie”.

Aaron did an excellent job of making Katie laugh. He knew exactly what to do!Aaron and Katie are such a relaxed couple. Their wedding was such a breeze! It was so much fun being able to capture their day. Thanks so much to my sidekick for the day, Leah Benson. You rock!
