Tyler & Diana

Here is a little photography secret….mornings are one of the most overlooked times for pictures. Everyone wants sunset golden hour, when they don’t even realize that sunrise is just as beautiful! The best time of day to take pictures is either early in the morning at sunrise or later in the evening around sunset. It’s that simple! One of the benefits to photographing in the morning, is that the lighting is amazing and not too bright. Especially as we approach these summer months, the morning time is the coolest part of the day.

Another secret about mornings, it that nobody is around in the morning! I highly recommend having your engagement session in the morning if you are choosing a popular location where there might be a lot of people around. Talk about photo bombers! So for Diana & Tyler’s engagement session, we started taking pictures around 7:15am and it was perfect! As the sun came out later, it created this soft, sunset vibes for some of their photos. Talk about a win!

Since Tyler and Diana love the outdoors and spending time in nature, I recommended Chattahoochee Coffee for their session. (I live right down the road from here) Turns out….Tyler is my neighbor! Small world!

Tyler & Diana met in such a unique & fun way! They have a mutual friend who thought “hey, these two might really like each other” so she set them up on a blind date. And of course, they instantly hit it off! Tyler and Diana are both in the medical field and spend most of their free time outdoors. (in fact, that’s where Tyler proposed…on a mountain!) When they are both not busy working at the hospital, they enjoy kayaking, trivia and exploring new places.

Of course, we had to incorporate coffee in their sunrise session! I love their coffee mug – which they both bought each other for Christmas and didn’t know that they other bought the same gift. Talk about a perfect match! I think they both completely embody the quote on their mugs “explore more, live more” That is what life is all about!

These are a few of my favorites from their session! Can’t wait for November to get here – cause this wedding is going to be a blast!

I love how the sun was peeking out in this next picture.

We had to end the session with the scrubs! Haha, love it!

If you are engaged and would love to plan a fun engagement session like this one – reach out and we can make it happen!
