It is always so incredible to watch when couples meet each other and start to grow their relationship. Damon was roommates with my husband at what they call the “Brookgreen house” and through their roommate broship relationship, I met Damon. And then seeing him meet Kara has been such a joy to watch. When they are together they light up a room. When Damon told us he was going to propose to Kara, our reaction was something like “YAS”!
Since Kara is from Kansas, they had a wedding ceremony there so that all of her friends and family could attend. Then a few weeks later, they had a cozy ceremony here in Georgia for their closest family and friends. It was so sweet and unique. I don’t think I have ever photographed a ceremony like theirs (in a good way). You could feel the love and support in the room as everyone stood in the Hollingsworth living room and watched them commit their lives together. It was seriously one of the most moving ceremonies I’ve been a part of.
We took a few portraits of them in the garden and a few of their bridal party in the beautiful yard. It was such a picturesque venue. We did not have to go far to find a beautiful backdrop.
Thank you so much Kara & Damon for having us there! Hope you will cherish each other always and enjoy your new adventure of marriage!
