In the midst of a rollercoaster year, there are few couples that have been brave enough to face the challenge of Covid in the midst of planning a wedding. 2020 was their year to get married! No matter what the year would hold or throw at them, Kylie and Nick knew that no matter what – their marriage was most important, regardless of their guest count or location. Thankfully, things all worked out beautifully for them! Good things come to those who wait! And we had such a gorgeous day!
This last weekend the temperatures here in Georgia went from sweltering hot – to feeling like fall overnight! Literally! The day before their wedding was pretty hot outside and then out of nowhere…came fall temperatures. We were all so thankful. It seriously felt amazing!
My favorite part of the day was their first look. I know they were both anxiously excited to see each other, take a deep breath and say “we made it!”. Nick and Kylie love each other so deeply and I am so glad we had this separate moment just for them to share. I think it is so important to take a minute and soak in the moment, so we gave these two a little while to chat and hang out together on this cute bridge. Which resulted in some lovely candid shots!
I loved getting to meet all of their closest family and friends – including Nick’s fire station family. What a great group of support and love! I especially loved seeing everyones dance moves. It was as if everyone was celebrating and saying “take that Corona!” as they danced. Loved it!!
Congratulations Kylie and Nick! You made it!! Wishing you both all the love and happiness – it only gets better!
