George and Kylie got married last weekend at Cavender Castle up in North Georgia. There are several beautiful wedding venues in Dahlonega and I had no idea that this venue was in that area. It was such a beautiful place for their ceremony and it reminded me of a fairytale. Especially with the intricate pergola where we took their bride and groom portraits. Love!
George and Kylie are such a down-to-earth couple and I absolutely love how their relationship is very endearing and thoughtful. They are both pretty soft-spoken and enjoy spending quality time with each other so I knew that with their wedding photography it wasn’t gonna be anything over the top but a more intimate gathering. Which actually works out perfectly given the fact that weddings are having to downsize their guest list lately – this didn’t seem to really alter their plans too much!
Since George and Kylie decided to do a first look we are able to take a majority of their pictures before the ceremony. I also love this because in the fall season it does tend to get darker sooner. So after the ceremony we didn’t have to rush through their photos, but were able to do a couple extra shots for them as Mr. and Mrs. It was absolutely beautiful as the sun was starting to set during their ceremony; it was so romantic and set the tone for how sweet this moment was for them.
Later during the reception there was dancing and lots of fun with the guests! And guys- the weather could not have been more perfect for their back porch reception. I absolutely had the best time getting to know these two and see them get married! Such a fun day and I’m so thankful that they got the wedding of their dreams – it was lovely!
