TPC Sugarloaf is located just outside of Atlanta and is a part of the PGA tour network – which makes it a pristine venue for weddings (and golf of course). The main clubhouse has all of the southern charm & elegance that Katherine & Jake were looking for in a venue space. Their wedding last week was the perfect gathering of hometown friends and out-of-town family; serving as a melting pot of all of the people who have played a beautiful part in Jake & Katherine’s lives. Not to mention – their reception was non-stop fun!
Jake & Katherine first met at UGA in Athens and have been together for 5 years ever since! Athens will always hold a special place in their lives as that is where their relationship really grew into what it is today. While they are now closer to Atlanta and hold busy schedules, in their free time you will most likely find them enjoying a Sunday breakfast date together or exploring the Beltline. My kinda people!
Everything about Katherine & Jake’s wedding day was smooth sailing – each aspect of their day ran on time and we could not have asked for more perfect weather. And to top it off, their family & friends were the absolute kindest and sweetest. What more can I say, it was a great day!!
My favorite moment of the day was at the very end of the night; Alyssa their wedding planner, coordinated a private last dance for Katherine & Jake to enjoy as their wedding guest gathered outside for their sparkler exit. I know that taking a moment to stop & soak it all in one last time is now going to forever be a part of Jake & Katherine’s wedding day memories. It was so special and romantic!
I am so thankful to have met Katherine & Jake and their lovely family. They had so many great memories at their wedding and it was such a joy to photograph! Congratulations to Jake & Katherine on their new journey together; I know it will only get better!
