Just one year ago I was photographing Emily & Garner’s intimate wedding ceremony (see that here) which is still one of my favorite wedding’s I’ve ever photographed! The garden and flowers were just stunning!! With hopes that we could have a fun 1 year anniversary reception for them – things with Covid just kept sticking around. With all plans, there is always an alternative & a bright side! During their first year of marriage, Emily & Garner were able to purchase their first home together (which is saying a lot if you know how the housing market has been!). To celebrate their first anniversary & first house & Emily graduating with her PhD – we took some pictures to commemorate everything that this last year has brought! I mean….just one of these things is a big deal. Let alone, 3! I also couldn’t believe how gorgeous their new home was; the previous owner was quite the gardener and it made for the most summery & colorful backdrop for their session. And the little greenhouse – that was just the cherry on top! Take a look!
