My goodness, I’m not sure where to start with this wedding. But I would be lying if I said I didn’t tear up more than once throughout the day. Maybe it was the pregnancy hormones (psssst. the secrets out– checkout my recent post on Instagram) but this whole day was so sweet and full of love. Rhonda & Greg were able to be married at a wedding venue in Buford, Georgia accompanied by all of their family and friends.
The First look at their wedding venue in Buford
Okay- one of my favorite moments at Rhonda & Greg’s wedding was photographing their first look. At this wedding venue in Buford there is a beautiful grand staircase. We put Greg at the bottom of the stairs and Rhonda walked down to him- it honestly felt like a moment from a movie!
Later after their ceremony, we went outside to capture some beautiful photos with the sun setting behind them. It was such a romantic backdrop for their portraits. As I was taking their portraits, the sweetest moment unfolded. Greg was holding Rhonda’s hand and looking at her when he stopped me and said “Can you come and photograph this angle right here? Can you photograph her face because I just love how she looks right here & this light is just so beautiful on her.” LIKE WHAT! Of course I can. It was so sweet & the way it made Rhonda feel showed on every inch of her face the rest of the evening.
Dance lessons for two
When it was time for the first dance Rhonda & Greg knew what they were doing. They either are naturally amazing dancers or took dance lessons before their wedding. They had a beautifully choreographed first dance. Not too many couples think of this before their wedding and I think this was such a special touch for their evening.
Every aspect of Rhonda & Greg’s wedding was full of heart and being a part of their day with their friends and family was a true honor.
