The second day of Sarah & John’s wedding weekend in Atlanta was held at Summerour Studio. A completely different feel from the previous days celebration (you can see Pt 1 here) While the first day included a small and more intimate setting, the second day was all about the festivities! The fusion of cultures, traditions and colors made this celebration a truly unforgettable experience!
The Beginning
We started the day at The Starling in Midtown. We captured a few behind-the-scenes photos of John and Sarah getting ready with their families. With me that day I had 2 photographers assisting – Kelsey and Jorie. And we were in photography heaven with all of Sarah’s beautiful wedding details. So much sparkle! Having Sarah and John’s family included in these photos were extra special and a fun part of the day.
Once we arrived to Summerour, we went right into Sarah & John’s first look. I really wanted to create a private moment for them as the rest of the venue was being set up for their festivities. So the upstairs sunroom was an easy choice and provided the best backdrop for their pictures together. I know these two were already married, but I love that they wanted to share their party attire with each other in a private moment for just the two of them. These two really are so perfect together!
The Party
Weddings by Epic really did an incredible job in bringing Sarah’s vision to life for the reception. I’ve never seen such an amazing disco ball centerpiece! It was incredible! John had his own unique Baraat entrance with his family. And later he and Sarah did a special dance with all of the younger cousins. It was completely adorable. Did I also mention that they had cold sparklers during their first dance?! Which was SO epic! The night was filled with choreographed dances and I was completely in love with each one!
Sarah & John’s wedding reception was the perfect blend of culture, love and celebration that will leave a lasting impression on the hearts of all who attended. Congratulations John & Sarah!
