Chattahoochee River, Atlanta Engagement Session
When I say I love a good meet-cute, Lysandra and Jon’s story takes the cake (or should I say, the coffee?). These two first crossed paths at a coffee shop when Jon photobombed a picture Lysandra and her friends were taking. How hilarious is that? One playful interruption turned into a conversation, and the rest, as they say, is history!
It gets even better—as they got to know each other, they discovered their parents already knew one another. Jon’s parents are missionaries, and it turns out their families had some shared connections. Talk about the Lord making sure these two met! From that spontaneous moment at the coffee shop to planning their future together, it’s clear that Lysandra and Jon were meant for each other.
Chattahoochee River – a Hidden Gem!
Photographing their engagement session felt extra special because of my personal connection with Lysandra. I’ve had the joy of knowing her for several years, ever since we were neighbors and shared countless Thursday night dinners at Katherine’s house (such great memories!). I was over the moon when I found out Lysandra met Jon and they got engaged. Seeing her so happy and in love is truly heartwarming.
For their engagement session, we chose a stunning riverside location right here in the heart of Atlanta—a spot that’s not only beautiful but also holds sentimental value since it’s where Lysandra lives. The natural beauty of the river, combined with the love these two share, made for some seriously gorgeous photos. It’s no surprise that they used these images for their engagement party, and I couldn’t be happier to see their love celebrated so beautifully.
Lysandra and Jon, thank you for letting me be part of this chapter in your story. Your connection, laughter, and undeniable chemistry made this session unforgettable. I can’t wait to see what’s next for you two!
