This newborn session was especially meaningful for me, as Elizabeth is a friend. Watching her welcome her second baby, sweet Graham, was such an honor to photograph. There’s something incredibly powerful about documenting a season of life you know is deeply cherished—and this session reflected that in every frame.

As an Atlanta newborn photographer, I value creating images that feel personal and lasting, and this session embodied exactly that.

One of the most memorable parts of this session was big sister’s excitement. Although I typically begin newborn sessions focusing on the baby alone, she was so eager to hold and love on her new brother that we switched things up.

She certainly did an amazing job “holding baby” and took her role very seriously. Those early sibling moments—full of pride, curiosity, and tenderness—are some of the most treasured images families look back on.

Elizabeth shared that she wanted these portraits to be displayed throughout her home, which I absolutely loved. Photographing with that intention in mind helps guide:
These images weren’t just taken for today—they were specifically created to become part of the family’s everyday life.

Spring is such a beautiful season for newborn photography in Marietta, Georgia. The season reflects growth, transition, and new beginnings—everything this family was experiencing as they welcomed Graham.

Baby Graham’s newborn session was a beautiful reminder of why I love what I do. Documenting connection, preserving fleeting moments, and creating images that families will treasure for years is at the heart of my work.
