Micah’s one year session in Midtown Atlanta, GA was the perfect way to celebrate such a meaningful milestone. As a Midtown family session, this shoot beautifully combined summer light, heartfelt connection, and personal touches that made the experience unforgettable.
What made this session especially powerful was the history behind it. I had the honor of photographing Micah as a newborn, and seeing him again one year later was truly surreal. It’s in these moments that time feels both fleeting and incredibly significant. One moment, they’re tiny and curled up in your arms; and the next, they’re full of personality, movement, and joy.

There is something incredibly special about documenting a family’s journey over time. Micah’s newborn session took place indoors, creating a soft and intimate environment. For his one year session, we intentionally chose an outdoor setting in Midtown Atlanta to create a beautiful contrast.
The warmth of summer paired perfectly with the energy of a one-year-old. Micah was curious, expressive, and full of life—making every frame feel natural and full of emotion.

One of my favorite parts of this session was incorporating meaningful elements that reflect the Wagner family’s personality. As huge Atlanta Braves fans, including Braves memorabilia was a must; and it added such a fun and personal layer to the session.
