Cedar Plantation, Downtown Acworth Wedding Photographer

     Cedar Plantation is a beautiful Victorian wedding venue, nestled quietly away in Downtown Acworth. You would never believe such a gorgeous place was hidden, only minutes away from Main Street Acworth. This venue was so charming and elegant! Everything was decorated with a touch of Christmas spirit and it was perfect! Brandy & Jason hosted their winter wedding here and it was everything they hoped it to be; even a bit of snow included!

     Each time I talked with Brandy she always said one thing “I am so ready for this day!”. And you could definitely tell that throughout the day that they were so excited and ready to take their next steps together with marriage. I know the past few months have very hectic for them as they work at KSU together – they really do work hard to make sure others are safe and taken care of. Jason and Brandy are both so giving and thoughtful; always thinking of others and putting each other first. They both wanted to surprise each other with gifts throughout the day – it brought them both so much joy to make the other happy. We loved each and every surprise!

     We took a majority of their photos before the wedding ceremony and I love the results! It offered more time for them to spend the day with each other and their guest later at the reception. Especially in the wintertime, it get’s dark outside earlier. So to combat that, we took a majority of their pictures before hand, giving them more time to spend with family afterwards. Win-win!

     I was so in love with the Christmas decor throughout the venue. The perfect touch of twinkly lights and red ribbon bows made it the perfect backdrop for this wedding. Even while we were taking bridal portraits, Brandy exclaimed “I love twinkle lights!!” and that became our motto throughout the entire day! And the weather – ya’ll it really was a Christmas miracle. Not too hot or too cold, it was perfect!
