This engagement session at Montaluce Winery in Dahlonega Georgia is so beautiful & romantic! Kristina and Frank are such a fun- loving couple who enjoy living in the city and spending time trying out new restaurants (these two are such foodies and I now have the best resource for restaurant recommendations) I love it!! When it came to their engagement session, I knew we had to find a location that reflected their story and who they are as a couple. Montaluce could not have fit them more perfectly! We waited to choose their session date so that the weather was in that “not too hot/ not too cold” window – and wow, it was perfection! We had a nice breeze that really gave their images some movement. There really is nothing like having that wind blowing through your hair look for photos (I know it can seem annoying at times, but goodness – it can look so romantic in the right timing). I loved exploring the various parts of the vineyard with them as we took these pictures. And even better, we all got to hang out afterwards at Montaluce’s restaurant and (which is amazing!). Kristina and Frank have been truly incredible to work with as I won’t be able to photograph their wedding (which I am so sad to miss) as I will have my hands full with a little newborn baby come this September. But, things always work out in the best way, because my associate Abby with Abby Byrd Photography is going to photograph their wedding day for them. I love that we have a great community of photographers in Atlanta! I am so glad to have been able to photograph these two for their engagement session. And I can’t wait to see photographs of their wedding day with Abby. They really are getting to experience two photographers with their journey!
