Serenbe Engagement Session | Armando & Christy

When it came to picking a location for Christy and Armando’s engagement session, they wanted to find somewhere unique and different. Serenbe was just that! In fact, this might be a new top favorite location for me! We took their photos at a private neighborhood community outside of Atlanta called Serenbe. If you’ve never visited, I would highly recommend it! It’s such a quaint little community in the middle of the country. There are tons of cute shops, restaurants and activities. The local residents actually call it the ‘Bubble’ because you are truly in the middle of nowhere. This community has everything you could ever want! Such a unique space!

The Inn at Serenbe

When we first arrived we started at The Inn at Serenbe. Which is such a peaceful location with a beautiful farm and restaurant. I think my favorite thing about this location is that it is so peaceful and quiet. Since it is outside of Atlanta, there’s not a lot of hustle and bustle and you don’t have to worry about other people being in your pictures or anything like that. It’s just a really peaceful place. Serenbe would also make the PERFECT date night spot for anyone looking to get out of the city!

Season of life

Christy and Armando are getting married next winter in Cancun, Mexico. So to be able to capture this season of their lives was really special to them. A lot of their closest friends are getting married – so we wanted to make sure their engagement session was a true reflection of their personalities and interest. I think my absolute favorite part of this whole session is when we came up over a hill and saw a pasture full of horses- about 5 or 6 of them walked up to us- probably thinking we had food for them. They were so friendly and made for some really great companions in some of Christy and Armando’s pictures. These images were especially sweet since Christy is a huge fan of animals. It couldn’t have been more perfect!

I am so excited for Christie and Armando as they get ready to start this next part of their lives together- it was so fun exploring Serenbe and getting to know them. Double win!
