Atlanta Newborn Photography | Favorite Images

As a photographer in the Atlanta area, one of the sweetest compliments a photographer can receive is when a past client reaches out again when they have another special life event they would like captured. So many of the couples whose weddings I’ve photographed, reach out to me again when they are growing their family a few years down the road. It is so fun to be a part of so many special moments, even beyond wedding day. These past few weeks have been full to the brim of amazing newborn photoshoots; I just had to share some of my favorite images!

Weddings and Newborns

When I’m not photographing weddings or engagement sessions, I get to spend my days as a newborn photographer. As primarily a wedding photographer it is so fun for me to be a part of my clients lives. Even after their wedding is over.

My Start as a Newborn Photographer

I first got started in newborn photography right after college while working at a hospital. I was the girl who would come into your room the day after your baby was born to take photos. It was such a fun and unique way to get started in newborn photography. I think over the few years I had worked there, I had photographed over 3,000 babies. Not that is what I like to call good practice! I truly learned so much and met so many amazing families during my time taking newborn photos at the hospital. 

Natural Newborn Photography

Being a newborn photographer in the Atlanta Georgia area- there are so many great photographers around me, all with different styles of photos. My style of newborn photography is natural and simple. I truly like to highlight babies as they are without any added noise. Babies are so sweet and adorable on their own, I like to focus on their features and taking a more natural approach without tons of props or poses. Babies are only so small for such a short period of time and I really love capturing those moments as they are and as naturally as possible.

Now, onto the good stuff I promised earlier… some of my favorite images of the sweet newborns and their families I’ve captured over the summer!
